Tyrannosaurus Rex

The Tyrannosaurus lived around 66 million years B.C. and is probably one of the last large dinosaurs who walked the earth.
A nearly complete skeleton was found in Wyoming by by a team of paleontologists from the Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden, The Netherlands. This T-Rex is nicknamed "Trix" and is one of two skeletons on permanent display in Europe. All dinosaurs became extinct after a giant meteor slammed into the earth 65 million years ago. |
