King Arthur (Pendragon) is probably one of the most famous British mythological figures. Some say he was an Anglo-Roman commander who defeated the Saxons in Wales. Some historical sources speak about a warlord named Arthur around the time the Romans left Britain but if that's the same Arthur as the legend is below about, we'll probably never know!
