Although his reign wasn't really that special, he still is a world famous pharaoh.
Because in 1922 a British archeologist named Howard Carter found his nearly intact tomb at the so-called Valley of the Kings, a burial ground for pharaohs. With over 5000 artifacts found at the site, it is an important source of information regarding our knowledge of ancient Egypt. |
